RED WINES
Three Ridges Red - $18Our vintner's blend of 46% Chambourcin, 40% Cabernet Franc and 14% Merlot is a great example of the saying that the “sum is greater than its parts”. Chambourcin’s thick skins produce deep color and strong tannins and the wine is well-structured with good acidity. Its fruit notes are more focused when married with Cabernet Franc. Both are made softer and fuller with the addition of Merlot. All in all, we think you’re going to love this dry, medium-bodied wine with dark fruit nuances throughout and a distinct tart cherry note. Recommended pairings: cedar planked salmon, chicken cacciatore, pasta with red sauces, flat iron steak, sharp cheeses. Experiment... this wine is quite versatile. |
